BIOGRAPHY
JOHN E. Bigelow was born in New York in 1925. In Rye his family lived at 5 Mendota Ave. JOHN enlisted in 1944 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
John Bigelow Navy Radioman John Bigelow graduated, Friday, as Radioman Second Class from the U. S. Maritime Service Radio Training Station at Gallups Island, Boston Harbor. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Bigelow, former residents, now living in Washington, D. C. \

Of Wellesley Hills, January 14. Beloved husband of the late Claudette R. (Le Duc de Kerguenou) Bigelow. Devoted father of Yvette E. Bigelow of Roslindale, Daniel K. Bigelow of Baltimore, MD. Grandfather of Carolina S. Bigelow of Baltimore, MD and Blair T. Bigelow of Laguna Beach, CA. Brother of Patricia B. Morton of Green Valley, AZ. Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made in John's memory to Project Liberty Ship, Highland Town Station, P.O. Box 25846, Baltimore, MD 21224.
Late retired Engineer for Raytheon Company for over 40 years. Former Wellesley Special Police Sergeant, and member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Gallups Island Radio Association.
